On the 17th of April, the third edition of MAGNIFICAT took place, Del terroir a la copa, a professional meeting where great international wineries of wines and distillates have gathered.
The event, organized by Juvé & Camps and First Brands, was held in the Espiells winery, in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia. The event brought together more than 1,000 professionals from the sector who have been able to taste a large number of great wines and spirits from the hand of their makers.
Throughout the day, eight masterful tastings have been carried out, one more than in previous editions; and a permanent showroom with 47 participating wineries from all over the world, where winemakers and distillers have presented a large selection of their products. This year the event has also had a new cocktail bar in Carpa Chill Out format where Yerai Monforte, last winner of the Clement Ti’Punch Cup and one of the national stars mixologists, has shown the importance of the quality of the material premium when combined and Premium cocktails.
We also unveiled the underground treasures of the winery in a vertical tasting of Milesimé with vintages that are no longer on the market. In addition, the occasion has had the surprise presentation of Milesimé Rosé, the new limited edition cellar of the winery, 100% pinot noir. The meeting was led by Josep Jiménez, director of Viticulture; Antoni Cantós, director of Enology; and Fernando Zamora, professor at the Faculty of Oenology of the URV and President of the Technology Commission of the OIV.
